This gadget watch doesn't only tell you the time, you can also see the amount of ethanol (alcohol) in your breath (and by that in your blood). Yes this gadget actually tells you how drunk you are! This is also very useful for knowing whether you are capable of driving a car without getting yourself in problems with the police...
It works like the average breath detector: You simply blow into a small hole and the watch does the rest: it analyses your sample and shows the resukls in a clear and simple way, by colors and bars.
The only bad thing for now that this watch is only a prototype, so you won't be able to find it in stores soon. But id you are interested in this concept and you would like to follow any news about this, I suggest you to visit the developers website: TokyoFlash.
By the way, even if you aren't interested in this watch, Tokyoflash has lots of other awesome looking watches and very innovative designs... Best of all: the price is very decent!
That's it for this gadget, what's your opinion about it? Let me know!
See you later
I would say if you need a watch like that... you probably should call a cab. :) I like the idea though.
ReplyDeleteI don't know man. Those things are usually very unreliable. I mean, the ones the cops have costs well over 150 bucks and has to be calibrated more often than not.
ReplyDeleteIf it fits on a watch maybe one day all car will have one to reduce drunk drivers.
ReplyDeletehey it sone of those gadgets you gotta get, just for the fun of checkign on your freinds on your night out XD i bet you coudl just buy one of thos epolic euse, might be expensive :c
ReplyDeleteoh cool! that is so useful! i want it!
ReplyDeleteThese should be in all cars, and a mandatory installation into older cars for people who have been pulled over for drinking and driving or driving drunk.
ReplyDeleteevery car should have one and only start if your breathe is clean. Very cool watch though!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Now everyone can take a breathalyzer test before heading home after a party!
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a handy gadget - I wish it was something different than a watch though, maybe even just a seperate breath analyzer, but with the same pocket size. I can see one big problem: the allowed alcohol rates differ among countries, so there should be a localised, regional version available... for a lot of places.
ReplyDeletedoens't work i think (; if it works i woke one day up with more than 2%o and drove home xD
