Monkey power

Hey guys, since I noticed a lot of you liked the travelling gadgets and such I thought about searching 1 more... This is the result of my quest, the powermonkey-eXplorer.

It's a backup battery that can recharge just about any device with it's multi-charge connectives. It has a powerful lithium-ion-battery and has enough "juice" to completely power up your mobile phone about 3 times; or to provide power to your camera for +- 1600 pictures! The charge takes about an hour or 5.
It even comes with a neat traveling case so you can take it with you more easily...
It's also sun-powered, so you can recharge your monkey while you recharge your other devices... cool ain't it? And if there isn't enough sun out there you can also recharge your monkey using the normal electricity net and by using a pc usb port...
It costs about 100$, which reasonable, considering how versatile and useful it is...
website of developer Powertraveller can be found here

A nice use for the solar collector, while you are outdoors.
All the extra tips, for all your favorite devices.
So that's it, what's your opinion about this?  Would you use it, or do you have better alternatives?
See you next time!

  4. Yea, definitely useful for backpacking type situations.
Interesting name, "monkey power". Because the first thing when I think of portable power isn't Monkeys, but then again I'm not in the product naming business...
