The elder scrolls online teaser trailer

Hey people...

It isn't a secret to you anymore that I'm quite a fan of the elder scrolls series... And that I was quite fond of the last game, skyrim... Well, I just encountered something so unbelievable that I just needed to share it with you...

A teaser for an MMORPG in the world of the elder scrolls...
Is this something to be happy about? I'm not sure... I wouldn't like to see the genre run upon its end with a way too expensive massive multiplayer game... But on the other side it would be very cool to explore the vast world of morrowind, skyrim and all the others with your friends online... And even though I cannot decide about whether I like this or not, I am very sure about one thing: I am VERY VERY fond of the new teaser trailer which Bethesda released...
See it for yourself!

What do you think about it? could it be a succes, or do you fear for the worst? Please let me know in the comments!

See you guys later

Angry tunes: Angry birds-speakers

What up people,

Time for another gadget review:

On today's schedule is: the angry birds speakers produced by gear4.

This is the ideal gadget for those of you who can't get enough of the birds and pigs of Rovio's massive hit game: "angry birds", and love fancy looking ipod speakers. Perfect for geeks and nerds who want to fill up their collection of crazy game gadgets. But it's also a great hit for those of you who don't want to be super geeky, yet original...
Admit it, they look awesome and funny. And best thing about it is that the quality of these speakers is pretty good too. (that's what's most important, ain't is). The people from gear4 certainly put their effort into making these, so that the sound quality is crystal clear and just perfect for in house use.
The docking stations on these speakers are only I-thing compatible, but there's also a 3.5mm cord included, so you can connect just about any other mp3 player out there, great isn't it? Well I think it is. They're goofy, geeky, stylish, silly... The only downside is the price you have to pay for these designer speakers. Red bird will cost you 50 pounds which is about 80 pounds. Not too much for a decent speaker, but there's still cheaper solutions. Of course those won't make your inner nerd giggle like a small child...

So what do you think about these? Is it something you'd buy? Maybe you want to gift it to someone? Or do you think it is purely money-milking?
Let me know in the comments!

See you later

Skyrim Soundtrack: Dovahkiin

To stay in the line of my last post, I'll share something more about skyrim...

Yes, the game got to me and is taking up quite a lot of my time, which sadly enough is also the reason for the lack of updates here, sorry!

Anyways, here is what I wanted to share, the theme song of the game. It has a northern mountain king like feeling, and it's absolutely epic... Even though I can't understand the lyrics, they couldn't be any more perfect...
For those who didn't see it yet, I am in love with this game...

Now make sure to listen, because you're missing out big if you don't...

See you later!

Skyrim released, goodbye social life

Hello everyone!

If you're even a little bit into rpg games you will know the elder scroll series. If that doesn't ring a bell, try oblivion, which was the latest title of the series a little while ago... But not anymore!
Yes, a new game in the elder scroll series has arrived, and I have waited so long for it: Skyrim is it's name...
Yes people, skyrim was released yesterday and I got myself a midnight launch edition! This is super because I happen to have 5 school-free days, which I can now spend with this beauty!

If you are just as exited about this game as I am, but you can't get it yet; or those who don't know a lot about it, I'm afraid that I won't be able to help you with that; but what I can do is sharing a review about it, that sums up the game pretty good, and gives a little bit of that elder scroll magic feeling...

Enjoy, I'm sure you will!

Where is the red?

Hey everyone!
Time for a quick game... Both in the meaning of short and quick paced that is.
This is a very old and simple game, where there are 3 cups and 1 coin. The coin gets is under 1 cup and then the cups are shuffled (at a high speed). Your mission to find the coin.

Think you can handle it? Then visit http://butchersworkshop.com/witr/ and try your skills. I myself reached level 9 before having to quit, can you do better?
Besides this free pc version, the creators at butchershop offer an android version of the game sold via their website. They also offer a game based on the new hype of nyan cat, for free... It's definately worth a try.

That's it for today, see you later!

Hello everyone,

So, lets get on with the post, today I'll post another review about a youtuber I enjoy following, well a channel would be better in this case I think...

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you, the yogscast:

I have some news that probably is pretty interesting to the game lovers in here. More specifically, those who love first person shooters.
Yes of course it's a new shooter, and yes of course it's a new counter strike title (Well, I kind of hoped that you'd figure that one out by reading this posts title...)

Duke nukem vs. Chuck Norris: An epic battle

Hey what's up everyone,

So yesterday a friend of mine kind of got into this childish discussion about "my hero is greater than yours"... Seriously, after giving arguments for about 20 minutes we decided just to quit and call it even... But then I thought of this blog and I thought I could ask you guys what you think...

So this post will come with a poll (which you might have seen and voted on already), the question is very very simple: Duke Nukem or Chuck Norris?
Yep, we actually discussed this, like a bunch of 10-year-olds; but then again, when coming to a decision this great, who wouldn't argue about it :p

If you can't really make up your mind right now, or if you don't know who these guys are (shame on you!), here's a little summary of both:

Portable gaming station

Hey people,

Today I came across a cool gadget that might appeal to those of you who enjoy console gaming, and hate leaving it alone when going on vacation...
It might be true that there are alternative portable gaming devices around there, which can also give you a bunch of fun, but when it comes to it, nothing beats the pure power of the console...
So, when you are in the situation of going somewhere where you don't have access to a tv, and thus you are forced of leaving without it, think of this:

Keyboard time

Hey people!
It's been a while since my last post, and I must make my excuses for the lack of updates the latest 2 weeks... The problem is that I'm having exams right now, and that the pc looks more like a far away dream, and so does blogging (unfortunately)
That's why I'll keep this gadget post clean and short... The gadget I found today is specially for the people who have an Iphone or Ipod touch...

The name of this Gadget? WOW-keys, (no not World of warcraft!) an odd name for an odd idea, but I kind of like it...
What does it do? Well it's a keyboard... How can it be of any more use than the one you are using now? Think about this scenario:

Join me for a game...

Hey all, today I'm making the promised post about party/cardgames =D
I won't make too many words dirty about it and I'll start right away with the comments, do note that I have tried all these games and that I found them all good...
Here I go ^^

#1 Aye dark overlord

Concept: One person is the dark overlord and he introduces a story to the other players (his minions). For example, the minions had to bring back the pet dragon, but brought a cat instead. Then the minions have to tell the overlord why this happened. If a minion fails to explain or the explanation doesn't make any sense, he gets an evil stare (card), get 3 of those and you're dead; and the game is over.

Humble bundle 3 revealed

Hello bloggers!
Todays post is about a website I found earlier today... It's one of the greatest websites there is for game fans... It sells games without any DRM... It helps charity... The games you buy are redeemable on steam! But best is that you can pay what you want...
Yessir, the humble bundle has returned... With the same old rules: you pay whatever you want for 5 cool games and you decide how your money is divided (between dev's or charity)...

Nice n tidy

For those of you who own a console it isn't a mystery anymore, sometimes it just gets quite messy... A controller here, cable there... Where did I put that mic. again... Man I need some space for this guitar... Where did the bloody wiimote go?
If these things sound familiar I might have the ideal solution...

Meet the zig zag gaming towers,

Bloggers, for those of you who are into gaming, this shouldn't be anything new... For the rest of you, this is amazing... What is it I am talking about? Yes, It has finally come to this point, sony announced a while ago they were working on a new handheld... If you are wondering why I am so amazed by this thing, allow me to explain myself...

Rebuild!

Today I came across this game, it's called rebuild, and that's basically what the game is about... Rebuilding a society in a zombie infested world...
There are different classes of people which have their own specialties (like a gatherer, a leader, soldier,...); and there are also all kinds of buildings with their own purposes... You need to watch several things, one is food, a second is room for your population and the third is building up a defense that will protect you from the zombie attacks...
The easier modes are piece of cake to win, but when you try harder or insane, well then you're in for a challenge... Enough said, enjoy the game :)

Rebuild, the game

Tech for all you nintendo fanboys

What do oldschool gaming and nowadays portable harddrives have in common? Nothing, except for the fact they both are electronics... Well actually there is one more thing they do have in common, this NES-HDD... Yes, it may look somewhat unnatural and awkward, after all it's a USB cable popping out of a NES game, but then again, ain't this a great idea...

Stick it on, enjoy the game

For those of you who own an ipad, or just any device with a touchscreen, it shouldn't be a mystery anymore... There are lots of fun games out there that can be controlled with the touch of your fingers...

Now the problem is that fingers sometimes aren't that accurate, and touching the screen with "fatty" fingers also won't do any good. Well this gadget solves it all...
