Time for another gadget review:

On today's schedule is: the angry birds speakers produced by gear4.

This is the ideal gadget for those of you who can't get enough of the birds and pigs of Rovio's massive hit game: "angry birds", and love fancy looking ipod speakers. Perfect for geeks and nerds who want to fill up their collection of crazy game gadgets. But it's also a great hit for those of you who don't want to be super geeky, yet original...
Admit it, they look awesome and funny. And best thing about it is that the quality of these speakers is pretty good too. (that's what's most important, ain't is). The people from gear4 certainly put their effort into making these, so that the sound quality is crystal clear and just perfect for in house use.
The docking stations on these speakers are only I-thing compatible, but there's also a 3.5mm cord included, so you can connect just about any other mp3 player out there, great isn't it? Well I think it is. They're goofy, geeky, stylish, silly... The only downside is the price you have to pay for these designer speakers. Red bird will cost you 50 pounds which is about 80 pounds. Not too much for a decent speaker, but there's still cheaper solutions. Of course those won't make your inner nerd giggle like a small child...

Augmented reality Iphone gun

Meet the appBlaster, a new gadget for those who want to give a new dimension to iphone gaming.
The gun itself is made out of plastic and requires no batteries at all, which is always good. So how does it work then? Well, first you put your Iphone (or Ipod touch) in the docking station, next you download the Alien attack application (for free!) and you're off! Shooting the alien scum in your own living room, or wherever you want!
When you pull the trigger you move 2 fingerlike extensions, which press against your iphone, resulting in ingame shooting. The movements you make are registered by the Ipone itself, so you can actually duck away to avoid enemy attacks! According to users, this gun isn't only fun to use, but will also give you extra movement while playing, much like WII fit and others.

Interested? You can make the gun yours for about 30$ at the online store Red5 , and as mentioned earlier the application itself is free in the appstore, the publishers also announced that they will release another 3 games compatible with this gun, for even more fun!
